The Ukrainian publishing house “Chas Zmin Inform” has released the Ukrainian translation of John Henden’s practical guide “Overcoming Combat Stress: 101 Recovery Techniques”. The book is designed for active service members, veterans, and professionals supporting those affected by combat experiences.

This guide offers 101 proven techniques and strategies to help manage the psychological consequences of warfare. Avoiding complex terminology, Henden focuses on actionable advice that can be applied immediately. The book provides tools not only to confront the internal “enemy” but also to rediscover purpose, meaning, and direction in life.

John Henden is a globally recognized author, therapist, and trainer, with over 20 years of experience in the UK’s NHS mental health services. He founded the John Henden Consultancy and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Among his previous works is “Suicide Prevention: A Solution-Focused Approach” (Wiley-Blackwell, 2008).

The Ukrainian edition features 196 pages with illustrations by Anastasiia Polianitsina, translated by Liudmyla Shepeleva, and designed by Tetiana Vyhovska. The hardcover includes a photo on the cover by Matthew Baker Ltd.

This book becomes an essential tool for anyone seeking to restore inner balance after combat and build a full, meaningful life.
